Refurbishments
The World Gallery is a new display of over 3,000 objects from our internationally important anthropology collection, exploring what it means to be human. The World Gallery is the culmination of a five-year project that has also involved the transformation of the gallery space to recapture the spirit of the original Museum building.
The Studio is a new contemporary arts space featuring an exciting programme of exhibitions and activities, co-curated by community groups and artists, and inspired by the Horniman’s anthropology collection.
